Plane Clean Air™ Filter Description
The Plane Clean Air filter is a compact device that can be attached to a passenger’s overhead air
nozzle (gasper nozzle) to provide you with a 'germ-free'
air curtain to breath while inflight. The device houses
an electrostatic charged filter media capable of removing
more than 99.5% of airborne viruses, bacteria, allergens
and other particulate matter from an air stream. A thin
adhesive-coated gasket is used to attach the filter securely
to gasper nozzles on most aircraft (Airbus and Boeing).
Lets face it, nobody wants to catch a cold from
traveling on an airplane and breathing recycled air.
With the Plane Clean Air Filter, you can stay healthy
for your trip as the purified air stream has enough force
behind it to prevent airborne germs in the aircraft
cabin from getting to the user’s face.
Most forms of infection enter the body through
the nose, mouth and eyes. If these areas are protected
inside a filtered air curtain, the body is less
likely to become infected from germs.
Installation is easy! The filter is installed by removing
the release liner from the adhesive, and mounting the device
directly to the gasper. Air flow can be controlled simply by
rotating the housing (which in turn rotates the gasper).
Once the desired air flow is selected, the airstream can be
directed onto the user’s face.
When the flight is over,
the Clean Plane Air filter can then be detached easily
and placed in its compact storage case, and into your
carry-on. No need to worry about any adhesive residue
either, as the air gasket adhesive is designed to hold
the product securely, but will not leave any adhesive
residue on the airplane gasper surface.
If you are a frequent flyer, the air filter media and air gaskets
are also disposable and can be replaced as needed.
